Meet Scoop, who loves to find old things and give them new life, and Bertie who is made from plastic bottles and can’t wait to be recycled! Then head to Mr Gobble’s Garden, where Scoop introduces us to more friends made from objects that might otherwise be thrown away. Along the way we’ll also learn some lessons about growing plants and friendship.
There are videos showing you how to make and use puppets from junk, and activities on the environment and recycling.
Curriculum links: Art and Design/Design and Technology (puppet design and making), Science (everyday materials, plants, living things and their habitats), English (stories and character), PSHE (caring for the environment, friendship).
